Stephanie Pavlik

Secretary

Stephanie Pavlik is a Vice President Sales Leader with Norwex and mother of 5, Maasa, AJ, Catherine, Rebekah and Teresa. She resides in Sioux Falls, SD which has been her home for most of her life. She spent a year as a missionary in Australia with the National Evangelization Team. Stephanie married Tony Spader and they lived in Dell Rapids, SD for a couple years with their two oldest children. Following that, they moved back to Sioux Falls. Stephanie was primarily a stay-at-home mom due to 2 of their 5 children having a lot of medical complications. She also did a lot of volunteering at her children’s schools and held different board positions including: Parent Teacher Association, Parent Advisory Board, REACH Foundation (Religious Education for all Children) and Bishop’s Youth Hunt. Stephanie and Tony had a deep love for the outdoors and spent any free time they had with their children camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking or boating. This fit well with having medically fragile children because being in crowded public settings was not something they could do often with multiple children having compromised immune systems.

In 2011, their 4th child, Rebekah, was diagnosed with MDS (pre-leukemia) so the next few years were focused around Rebekah’s bone marrow transplant and trying to nurse her back to health. During this time, they hosted a benefit concert that Rebekah chose to give the profit of over $20,000 to Make-a-Wish. After her death in 2016, Stephanie and Tony co-founded Rebekah's Legacy Foundation in hopes to continue Rebekah’s legacy of generosity to those less fortunate. The foundation donated over $30,000 to families that were experiencing financial strain due to prolonged illnesses with a child.

Unfortunately in 2021, Tony died by suicide a short time after being diagnosed with bi-polar disease. The foundation plateaued due to the family and board mourning his loss. In June of 2023, Stephanie married Greg Pavlik after meeting on Catholic Match and found themselves on a similar journey of healing after much loss. Greg had lost his wife, Holly, of 35 years to ovarian cancer. They too have a common love for the outdoors and Greg has expanded Stephanie’s experiences to include; UTV trail riding, kayaking, and playing pickle ball.

In early 2024, with talk of dissolving Rebekah’s Legacy Foundation, Greg, creator of the Unbroken Arrows Podcast, which he co-hosts with Stephanie’s daughter, Catherine, proposed that the board re-evaluate the Foundation and expand it's mission. This is how Unbroken and Brave Foundation came to be today.

Stephanie looks forward to all the different individuals, families and veterans that will be blessed by the continued generosity of this foundation. They have a family moto of Blended and Blessed - two families blended together only because of much loss and hardship but with their faith as an integral part of their lives they will continue to find the blessing in each day.
