Past Projects
Unbroken and Brave Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families facing hardships. Through our various projects, we strive to provide escapes for those needing a break from the real world. We also regularly contribute funds and gifts to in-need families to support medical treatments, extended hospital stays, and other essential needs. Your support enables us to continue our mission of spreading hope to those who need it most. Below are just a few examples of events and causes the foundation has contributed to.
North Carolina Camper
Unbroken and Brave Foundation, along with Bill and Susan Peters' generosity, donated a camper to a veteran family in North Carolina that lost everything in Hurricane Helene. The camper was filled with all the things that the veteran family and other homeless families in the area needed.

Sioux Falls Storm Game
A group of hospital families were treated to a night out at a Storm football game. The families got to go on the field and meet the players.

The Family Dinner - 2018, 2019
Rebekah's Legacy Foundation (now known as Unbroken and Brave) sponsored a Thanksgiving dinner for all inpatient families and staff at the Sanford Children's Hospital.

PDR Youth Hunt Sponsor
The Foundation sponsored a PDR Hunt. The P.D.R. Youth Hunt allows children with disabilities to enjoy a weekend of hunting where friends & memories are made.

Under The Same Moon
After Rebekah passed, the family was gifted a pre-recorded book of Rebekah reading "Wherever You Go" from the hospital. The book was recorded during one of her hospital stays. The foundation later donated a large quantity of similar books after finding out that these are expensive and not every family has the opportunity to receive one.

Wish Gift Concert
The start of the Foundation—Rebekah's concert donated over $19,000 to Make-A-Wish to sponsor other kids' wishes.
